The leader works with the subordinate to help them learn and grow in their position in order to make them better employees and help them become leaders of the future. This is how I teach and help my students to improve their skills. I work to help them overcome their fears and frustrations with the software we use in order to use the software as a communications tool. Does this help clarify things? Thanks for the comment! I think the tense is mixed (although grammar isn't my strong suit). I think it would be "can achieve" in this context. Also, I'm not sure "servant" is the right word. It seems you will be more of a catalyst, or an agent of change than a servant. Servant implies that these people want to change. I'm guessing your role will be to also motivate them to change.
